The George Lynch Invitational once again delivered a weekend full of high-level matchups, elite talent, and statement performances from prospects across multiple classes. From explosive scoring outputs to versatile two-way impact, these were the standout players who elevated their play and left a lasting impression.

2028 6’3 Micah Gunter (Greensboro Day)

Gunter put together one of the best scoring performances of the weekend. Showed shot creation, playmaking, and defensive instincts—coming up with steals and scoring in transition. Confident, composed, and productive beyond his age. Has consistently been one of if not the best guard in the NC’s 2028 class.

2026 Mason Williams (Tennessee Collegiate) – Jackson State commit

Williams had a strong showing with his ability to create shots and score in multiple ways. Played with confidence, stayed aggressive, and consistently found ways to get on the board. One of the steady offensive engines for his group.

2026 6’4 Ian Bailey (Asheville Christian) – UNC Asheville commit

Bailey stepped up with toughness, energy, and timely plays. Whether it was rebounding, defending, or making smart decisions off the bounce, he consistently provided winning contributions. A steady and impactful presence.

2026 6’5 Logan Johnson (Carmel Christian) – UNC Asheville commit

A steady presence for Carmel Christian, Johnson showcased his ability to impact the game on both ends. Played within himself, made smart decisions, hit open shots, and gave consistent effort defensively. A reliable piece who continues to grow.

2027 6’10 Reid Johannes (Phoenix Montessori)

Johannes put together an impactful stretches this weekend. Finished through contact, moved well without the ball, and competed hard on the glass. His mobility, size, and toughness give him huge long-term upside.

2026 Mike Jones (Moravian Prep)

Jones came ready to play—attacking gaps, knocking down perimeter looks, and defending with relentless energy. His pull-up game continues to shine, and he brought vocal leadership and full-court defensive pressure. One of the best three level guards in the building that coaches need to keep eyes on.

2026 6’10 Julian Adigun (Greensboro Day) – Harvard commit

Adigun brought physicality, rim protection, and activity in the paint. Battled inside for boards, contested everything around the rim, and showed improved touch and patience offensively. Made smart pass-outs and didn’t force anything—very productive performance.
