East Lincoln Looking to SHOW OUT
East Lincoln has been a tremendous program, and they will be back on display in a big way with both the boys and girls in action to kick off the afternoon. First, East Lincoln girls look to keep their record undefeated on the season, with 2026 Emma Montanari and company leading a balanced attack. This is a group that has a strong balance of veteran leadership, youth rising to the occasion, and scoring power. But they will be going up against a tough test in Stuart Cramer, whom we will talk about below. Then the boys are up next, as they too look to continue their strong start. 2026 Christian Atkins has been off the charts, nearly averaging 30ppg, and they have others, including 2027 Jaxon Dollar and more. The Mustangs have been averaging an impressive 72ppg, as they look to take down East Rutherford.
Stuart Cramer will be a team to watch
The Storm of Stuart Cramer will have all eyes on them, as they have started the season off strong. Wake Forest commit Oshauna Holland has been incredible, averaging nearly 30 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 7 steals per game to lead the way; she looks to put on a show! But she has helped, and we will be learning some new names as well, as 2027 Lauren Humphrey has been strong along with two intriguing freshmen. It could be a matchup of two undefeated teams to start the evening off.
Hickory vs. Gaston Christian – Could be a packed gym
With Hickory not far down the road and with the start for Gaston Christian, this could be a packed gym for this game. I fully expect Hickory fans to come out and showcase their support, as they will be going up against one of the best teams in the state of North Carolina, Gaston Christian. Gaston sits undefeated with impressive wins, coming in at No. 2 in the NCISAA rankings this week for Phenom Hoops. The Eagles hope to step it up from the last time they played on the Phenom platform, in what was a tight battle, as this should be a hostile yet fun game to watch.
Calling out the Maiden Fan Base
Phenom Hoops wants to see what you all have in store for us. Last year, it was awesome to see the full support but this year, we will have Maiden girls and Maiden boys in back-to-back games; we can’t see what you all have in store for us this year. Two excellent matchups for Maiden, with the girls going up against a tough West Cabarrus squad and then the boys going up against one of the better teams in South Carolina in Fort Mill, who will be bringing college-level talent to the court. Maiden will need everyone’s support as we look to make this one of the premier events of the weekend.
