Expression Prep Academy PG was one that we were eager to see come to South Carolina and learn more about the talent. And having an opportunity to check out this roster on several occasions, there were a few players that really stood out to me. We dive into three seniors who could be late targets for college programs. See what we had to say.
2025 6’3 Evin Thompson
Thompson was probably the most consistent presence for Expression PG throughout the weekend, as the sturdy, strong guard was able to be an offensive presence throughout the event. At 6’2, Thompson excelled in a variety of areas whether it was attacking strong to the basket, attacking and facilitating, or knocking down shots from multiple levels. Thompson brought an aggressive attitude and looked to attack whenever he could, embracing contact, finishing strong inside as a guard, and making strong passes to open teammates as well.
2025 6’9 Isaac Stamper
Stamper is one that I really found intriguing and believe he could be a sneaky prospect for a program at the next level. Standing at 6’9, Stamper surprised me with his overall mobility and comfort level in several areas. He was active on the glass and brought a good frame to battle down low, but his ability to rebound and push in transition was impressive, he showed more wiggle and mobility in his game and truly had an impact inside and out. He has good instincts, smooth jumper from the outside, is comfortable in putting the ball on the deck and making a play and makes smart decisions.
2025 6’11 Mou Riiny
One couldn’t help but notice Riiny on the court with his sheer size, but he also showed flashes of his game that allowed him to impact the game. Defensively, he can alter shots and be a defensive presence in protecting the paint. But he really made his impact on the glass, attacking the boards and using his size to his advantage. He was able to rack up double-digit rebounds in several games while also being a good offensive presence around the basket.
