6’7” 2027 Koen Booker (Christ School)
Booker was a pleasant surprise in my first viewing of him since returning to the state. He was highly comfortable with the ball in his hands, creating for himself off the bounce and proving to be a legitimate mismatch problem throughout the day. His positional transition from forward to wing seems to be coming along well, evidenced by his pace and handling craft when attacking off the bounce. He wasn’t afraid to take jumpers off the bounce and the catch, scoring at all three levels with consistency and proving that he could operate within a variety of different roles. His improved ball skills, physical maturation, and versatility all combine to make him a highly enticing long term prospect who is in line for a breakout season at Christ School.
6’8” 2026 Nick McLean (W-S Christian)
McLean was arguably the prospect who improved their stock the most with their showing on Sunday. His ability to defend multiple positions, finish plays around the rim, and impact winning without dominating the ball was on full display. He played his role extremely well and was dominant around the rim in spurts. He made it clear that he was unafraid of contact or size, consistently seeking out physicality and attempting to set the tone for the day. He shot the ball well, especially in the mid range on short rolls or when spacing out to the short corner. His upside is clear and his development will be an interesting one to track.
5’10” 2025 Rodmik Allen (New Hanover)
Allen was electric with the ball in his hands, getting to the paint at will and creating advantages with ease. He’s lightning quick with his dribble and does an incredible job at attacking the right angles and not allowing defenders to bump him off of his driving line. He’s a creative finisher and passer who uses unique angles and timing to offset his defenders size and length. He controlled the action whenever he was on the floor and made winning play after winning play. He was awarded as a top performer for the camp and will enjoy a fruitful season with New Hanover as they look to repeat as 4A East regional champions.
6’4” 2026 Jack Siegel (Charlotte Catholic)
Siegel was highly impactful within his identity as a high IQ shooter. He’s a player who simply doesn’t need time, touches, or dribbles to be impactful and his ability to produce within that framework was amplified in the camp setting. He shot the cover off the ball and wasn’t afraid to attack closeouts when defenders reacted to his shooting gravity. He made quality passes when in the open floor, off the drive, and in the halfcourt, showing off his high feel for the game and unselfish approach. His low-maintenance style of play should be highly attractive to a variety of college programs when the time comes.
6’9” 2025 Nayte Spargo (W-S Christian)
Spargo is another who really helped his stock with his performance on Sunday. He hit open jumpers, finished through traffic around the basket, and proved to be a versatile connective piece on both ends. He has good size and isn’t afraid of contact or physicality. He hunts dunks on the offensive end and is constantly trying to find ways to carve out extra attempts for himself, whether through fighting for good position, crashing the glass, or attacking off a straight line drive. He protects the rim well and is able to slide his feet on the perimeter when needed. He should provide a quality interior presence for WSCS this winter.
