Cap City Charlotte has been a team with plenty of talent for college programs and they have proven that all summer long. Some names are now off the board, but there are two guards part of the Class of 2025 that have been incredibly consistent and should be on more college radars. 2025 Chris Rivens and 2025 Tyree White, both playing at Covenant Day, are two strong and talented guards who could be nice steals at the next level. Which is why we are looking to dive more into their games.
2025 6’3 Chris Rivens is a player I believe should be getting more looks in the Class of 2025, as he has elevated his play and has been a strong factor in helping lead the charge. When you break down his game, Rivens has an intriguing blend of a strong frame and the ability to create as well as knock down shots. He has a smooth feel in attacking and finishing downhill, having good athleticism and feel. But he is comfortable as well in knocking down shots inside and out as well, as Rivens has shown to be more assertive offensively.
2025 6’0 Tyree White is another player that I believe should be getting the attention of college coaches with what he provides. Again, he is a reliable guard who controls the game, makes smart decisions, plays at his own pace and with poise, and brings a nice balance of running the show as well as being a scoring factor. White understands how to flourish in a variety of ways on the court and knows how to lead a team.
These two guards have proven all summer long that they are college-level players and should only continue to play at a high level.
