It has been a tremendous start to the season for Phenom Hoops, getting a chance to see a few familiar faces that we haven’t seen in a while. One of those players has been 2023 6’9 Addison Archer from Chase High School, as he will be playing with NLPB this spring/summer. It had been a little while since seeing the young man in action, so we were certainly intrigued to see how he had developed.
When watching his game in the last few weeks, one can see that he has continued to add pieces to his game more but also still bringing that versatility, that athleticism, and his size to the table. Archer had always been an interesting prospect, especially with his high-flying ability on both sides, finishing at the rim or blocking shots all over the court. But Archer has continued to put together pieces of his game, showing his feel down low in the paint and being able to finish over or around defenders, along with his impact in transition. Furthermore, it seems that he has continued to progress with his outside shooting, as he has displayed tremendous confidence from behind the arc, knocking down threes with consistency.
Archer continues to fly a little under the radar, but we expect him to be a focal piece for Next Level Prospects Basketball this spring and summer, as college coaches come to check him and the rest of the team out.
