The high school season has kicked off, and we are already finding new names that will have the attention of so many this year. One of those players has been 2026 6’6 Jeromy Davis from Combine Academy, as he has quickly been a human-highlight reel with his game.
Our scout, Patrick O’Brien, had this to say about his game from the Carmel Tip-Off:
“Davis was a new name for us at Phenom Hoops, but he certainly left a lasting impression, as the Georgia Southern commit put on a show for the fans. He clearly was the most explosive player at the event, high-flying at the rim, finishing strong at the rim, and being a shot-maker from deep as well as mid-range. A true three-level offensive weapon that has elite athleticism, allowing him to finish at the rim, block shots defensively, and really attack the rim.”
Getting a first-hand look at Davis, our scouts came away fully impressed and he certainly caught the attention of many fans as well at the event. Every time he was getting downhill, it could have been a show with him at the rim. A true high flyer and strong finisher at the rim, Davis soared high above the rim to finish, but also showed that he is way more than just an elite athlete, scoring with his mid-range game, rising up from behind the arc, and being an impact player on the glass as well. Davis consistently filled it up and made plays on both sides of the court, as it was easy to see why he was a target for programs.
