Player: Elhadji Diallo
Class: 2026
Height: 6’7
School: Combine Academy
Now back in North Carolina, things seem to be heating up for 2026 6’7 Elhadji Diallo at Combine Academy. One of the premier prospects in the state, Diallo looks to remind everyone around the state about his game in helping lead Combine this season. And with his play, it will also give a reminder to college coaches in hopes of making him a priority for 2026. Recently, our very own Jeff Bendel broke down his game, saying this:
“At 6-foot-7 with a long wingspan and strong, muscular frame, he has an array of quality physical tools. Diallo is a powerful athlete with the motor, rugged nature, and nose for the ball to consistently make life difficult for opponents. During his previous stint in North Carolina, he was largely seen as a big, athletic, defensive-minded forward with a growing offensive game. Now, it’s easy to see the strides he’s made as an all-around prospect. Diallo has clearly improved his ability off the bounce and perimeter jumper while maintaining his excellent rebounding presence and defensive versatility. He’s a quality finisher who can play above the rim or through contact with relative ease. His ability to reliably toggle between all positions defensively makes him an asset for any team.” – Jeff Bendel
Phenom Hoops caught up with Diallo to learn about the latest in his recruitment, as it seems that new schools are starting to enter the picture more.
Recruitment Update:
In speaking recently with Diallo, he mentioned that he has been talking to several schools as of late.
“Most of the schools that I have been talking to haven’t offered, but they are going to start recruiting me,” Diallo said. “North Texas, Longwood, and High Point have a high interest in me. Cincinnati recently sent their assistant coach to come watch m,e and I’m still talking to them. Dayton came to see me the other day and they said they are going to start recruiting me also.”
As of right now, Diallo has no visits set up, but he and his brother are currently working on scheduling some official visits to those schools.
