The Live Period is coming up with Phenom Hoops, as we hit the road and travel to Raleigh (NC) for the Phenom G3 LIVE, giving college coaches of all levels a chance to check out talent. Though there will be plenty of names to watch, we are bringing you five seniors that will be must-watch prospects at the event, as they could be tremendous late steals for programs. See what has been recently said about each from our staff at Phenom Hoops.
2025 Garrett Morgan (Cap City Charlotte)
“Morgan is an unsigned senior who could be a nice late snag and had a good overall weekend. Morgan brings a little flash, playmaking ability, and skill to the court with his ability to create off the dribble, score off the bounce, facilitate to open teammates, and with his overall ability to operate. I really like him with the ball in his hands as he makes things happen for himself and others.”
2025 Justice Mitchell (Strong Center Moose)
“Although we featured Mitchell yesterday, his production and generally impactful two-way identity cannot be ignored. His versatility naturally causes matchup problems for opponents on both ends of the floor. At 6-foot-6, Mitchell is too strong and athletic for perimeter players and too mobile and skilled to be contained by forwards or big men. He can reliably pass, dribble, and score in a variety of ways. Mitchell plays with great energy, both on the glass and when toggling between multiple positions defensively. Clearly a scholarship-level piece, it’ll be interesting to see where he furthers his playing career.”
2025 Jaevian Alston (Strictly Ballas)
“At 6’6 and with his overall skillset, Alston shows that he can flourish in various ways. He operates and scores from multiple levels, excels in getting downhill and using his size to his advantage, and he can hurt you from behind the arc and is a capable defender at several positions. As Alston would describe himself, he is a Swiss-Army knife on the court. And what impresses is that he able to operate within the offense and provide what is needed, but he has shown his ability to be assertive and put his team on his back when needed.”
2025 Jayden Little (Tru Elite)
“Given his status as an unsigned senior with college opportunities, it should come as no surprise to see Little as one of the more productive players on display. He’s a strong penetrator who gets downhill with relative ease and consistently finishes around the basket. Little knocked down multiple jumpers but was clearly at his best when touching the paint and attacking in transition. He set the tone defensively and rebounded the ball well for his size/position. Little has a place at the next level.”
2025 Gabe Erbeck (Team Vision)
“Erbeck is a polished offensive threat who can fill it up as a scorer, heat up quickly as a spot-up option, and operate as a creator for himself and others. Whether initiating the offense or applying pressure without the ball, he’s comfortable producing in various roles. Erbeck finishes through contact, hits midrange pull-ups, and knocks down jumpers at a quality rate from distance. He’s a quality defender and rebounder who plays hard on both ends of the floor. Erbeck is tough and plays with a chip on his shoulder. He’s also a nice athlete with size and an adaptable two-way game.”
