Miller led his Loudoun Valley High School team to a 30-1 overall record as they won the school’s first state championship in its history. Along the way, Miller averaged 23 points while shooting over 50% from the field on the year.

Watching him at Phenom’s Stay Positive Live, the 60+ coaches in attendance got the full show of his skill set. On one particular 3-play sequence, Miller got the ball in transition, attacked the rim and delivered a perfect between the legs pass to his trail man. The next play he comes down and knocks down a 3 pointer. The third play of the sequence he gets and offensive board put back dunk over the opposing team’s 6’8” big man.

George Mason sent their head coach in to sit baseline, they were his first offer. Over the last week Miller also picked up offers from Drexel, Radford and Towson. All three schools had coaches watching his first game at Phenom’s Stay Positive as well. It will be interesting to see which coaches extend offers after his performance.

Miller compares his game to Giannis Anetokounmpo saying, “His length and the way he finishes around the basket. He is my favorite player to watch.” While he has a lot happening for him, Miller knows he has to continue growing, “I get things so easily with my left hand, I have to stay working on my right. My jump shot has really come along too, but am trying to do that at the highest level as well.”

Without question Miller is going to pick up offers this July. Mid to high coaches need to make sure they get in to watch him tomorrow (Friday) at Phenom’s Stay Positive Live. It may be too late otherwise.
