Summer is ending, which means the high school season is right around the corner. To prepare for the upcoming season, we are looking to highlight players in the Class of 2025 that will be prospects to watch, as they look to go out in style. Continue to check back on all the latest player profiles with Phenom Hoops.
One player that has gone under the radar but is also one that has made his mark on several occasions is 2025 6’8 Levon Jacobs at Davidson Day. He is a very intriguing prospect with his blend of size, length, fluidity, and athleticism, as he brings versatility to the court. Jacobs has a physical feel to his game that allows him to operate inside but he is very fluid in his ability to make plays off the bounce, finishing strong at the rim with power. Each time we watch him, he brings value to the table, not having to be the focal point within the offense but he is also one that plays with a tremendous motor and looks to impact where he can. He will rebound, defend, looks to make plays offensively, and play with tremendous energy, something teams would certainly value at the next level.
What Has Been Said:
“Programs always need an energy guy who can bring versatility to the court. Jacobs could be that sneaky underrated prospect with a blend of size and athleticism and does what is needed for his team. One thing you will always get with him is his hard-working mentality and incredible athleticism, finishing strong and with authority at the rim. But with him being 6’8 and mobile, he can make an impact in other ways without being the focal point for a team.”
