2028 Aaralyn Scott (Team Sims):
It didn’t take long to realize that Scott was a strong talent and one to really watch out for more as she grows up. But when you watched her operate on the floor, she was terrific in creating space for herself, displaying quick handles, a good burst, and the ability to get defenders off for her shot. But she used those handles as well to finish and score effectively at the basket as well. Strong guard to watch out for more.
2028 Belle Hill (Southern Starz):
Coming from Alabama, Southern Starz put on a show and was quite impressive all throughout the event. Hill was one of several players that had a strong showing, but Hill really impressed with her overall impact and team-mentality. Whether it was scoring from multiple levels, attacking the boards, facilitating, or being a presence on both ends, she did a great job being that overall presence on the court for her team.
2027 Trinity Crumlin (Palmetto 76ers):
Crumlin made her presence felt all game long, as she was the tallest player on the court. Crumlin was able to be a strong presence all throughout on both ends, whether it was finishing and battling inside, being strong on the boards, or being a defensive presence in the paint. Crumlin was impressive and should be one to continue to monitor as she develops in the coming years.
2029 Kirsten Winston/ 2029 Jordyn McRee (Southern Starz):
More players part of the Southern Starz program that really impressed us this weekend, both Winston and McRee were two players that captured my eye. Winston was one that did a great job in operating down around the paint, being an effective weapon around the basket, staying aggressive, and finishing well throughout. McRee was one that was able to make plays off the dribble but also play off the ball, get to her spots, and knock down shots with a ton of confidence.
2029 Savayah Mitchell (Showtime Academy):
Mitchell certainly earned some looks her way with her play. Still so young as a player, she was excellent out in the open floor and in transition, as well as making plays in a vareity of other ways. Mitchell was aggressive in attacking out in transition, as she was abe to get by defenders with ease and score. But she also played with poise, a tremendoufeel, and made several plays for herself and others.
