Day 2 continued at the Southern Jam Session I, as here are five more players you will want to know.

6’3” 2017 Ja Morant – SC Hornets
Morant’s rise has been rapid, but it has been true. The lengthy point guard, is full of fire and athleticism. In the game against MATTS Mustangs, Morant scored 40 points and dished out 8 assists (this accounted for 60 of his team’s 80 points). Morant showed touch and range, he displayed elite defensive ability, and he showed he can get to the rim whenever he wants. Frank Martin was in to watch him and he earned 3 more offers today. Saturday and Sunday could double his offer total and take his recruitment to the next level.
6’4” 2017 Taveion Hollingsworth – Matts Mustangs
Hollingsworth pretty much displayed the entire arsenal throughout the day today. While was able to consistently get buckets at all 3-levels, it was his passing that really stood out. Hollingsworth showed true ability to play point guard, and his passes here on time and in the pocket. It was eye opening, as he had the likes of UTEP, Dayton, Marshall, Wright State and many others tracking him throughout the day. Session 2 will be a big one for him.
6’6” 2016 Dajour Joseph – HH-So-Flo
How was no one talking about this kid coming into the event'!' He has the full arsenal in his game, with size, athleticism, skill, touch, etc…Joseph averaged 18 per game in his team’s run to the 17u SEC championship, but he did so in an extremely loud manner. Joseph turned heads, and Saturday and Sundaymore heads should continue turning.
6’6” 2017 Hayden Brown – Upward Stars Upstate
It’s finally catching on, people are seeing how much Brown brings to the table. Without question that amount is a great deal. Brown played primarily point guard for his team, but that is also to go along with leading the team in rebounding and posting up his man in some half court sets. At 6’6” and 225 pounds, Brown is unique. After his play during Session 1, Presbyterian should have company among Brown’s offer list.
6’7” 2017 Terrell Sherman – North Meck Vikings
Sherman stepped onto the court and turned his swag on. The 300 pound lefty showed that he ruled the paint and it didn’t matter how athletic or lengthy or strong you were, you were not getting him off his spots. Sherman has great hands and good footwork. His touch is great 8’ and in, and once he pins you on his back, he is tough to stop over his right shoulder. There is some work to be done here, however this is one to watch closely as he put 33 points up in the semifinal game.
