A program that deserves some credit with their play over the last few weeks, Charlotte Supreme Tubbs 16u has some intriguing talent that could potentially play at the next level and will be ones to monitor.
Overall, this is a program that plays like a team, shares the basketball well, and has multiple players that can score the ball. You will see a balanced attack throughout and a team that will compete. There are a few guys though that could be ones to write down and check out.
2022 6’2 Ketron “KC” Shaw Jr is the first on the list, as the guard has a long frame that plays with a terrific quickness to his game. He works well showing off his bounce and when he attacks, but also showed that he can knock down the jumper when left open. Shaw’s ability to get into the paint and make plays is tough but also plays team basketball.
2022 6’0 Maxwell Coles also had a solid showing at Queen City Showcase and the Phenom Challenge. He consistently scored the ball well on multiple levels, leading his team in scoring on multiple occasions. Coles also plays with a great effort on the floor on both ends, something that coaches have to love.
Both Shaw and Coles plays with poise on the court, attacking and getting downhill.
2022 6’3 Antonio Perkins is another guard with good size and scoring ability. He was named All-Conference at Hopewell, leading the team in scoring as a sophomore and continued to show that in Rock Hill. When speaking with his coach, he mentioned that Perkins is an incredibly hard-working prospect that showed he can score from multiple areas on the floor.
This is a program though that competed at both the Queen City Showcase and the Phenom Challenge. This is also a program that has talent that has a chance to make their mark at the next level as they continue to develop, so keep these three names written down somewhere.
