Recruiting news continues to come about each and every day, and there are plenty of classes that we are already looking at down the road. One of the most recent programs that have been making a ton of noise has been Auburn, as they have now reeled in three strong prospects in the Class of 2024 and they may not be done yet.

2024 Labaron Philon
2024 Tahaad Pettiford
2024 Peyton Marshall

The guard play has to jump out immediately with this class.  Philon was the latest commitment for the Tigers, and when you talk about his game, one can’t deny his ability to fill it up.  On the season at Baker high school, Philon is averaging 35 points per game this season, showcasing his ability to fill it up, knock down shots from a variety of levels, and simply be dialed in to be an offensive threat.  And then you add point guard Tahaad Pettiford, a guard that is extremely crafty with the ball in his hands, has terrific handles and can be that playmaking guard, find ways to get into the lane and also find his teammates, but also create his own shot.  The dynamic duo of Philon and Pettiford should have Auburn fans incredibly excited about the weapons they will have leading the charge down the road.

Then you add the big man of Peyton Marshall, the 7-footer certainly brings the size and frame to carve out space down in the paint. When watching him a few times, he continues to be effective around the basket, finishing strong at the rim, bullying opponents and being physical.

These three alone will give Auburn one of the top classes, but again, the Tigers may not be done.  But if this recruiting class remains the same, Auburn fans should be excited about what the future holds.
