Scores from multiple levels on the court and is very efficient. Rebounds the ball well and has the ability to guard multiple positions; great shot blocker for his size. Very low maintenance player with a high IQ who is extremely productive.
6’8 Jacori Owens of Team Charlotte is long and rebounds the ball well. On a team loaded with talent, he is not forgotten. Has a presence in the lane and is physical; creates contact. Uses his length very well on the defensive end and looks to score around the rim. Runs the floor hard and is another high motor kid.
6’2 Demar Anderson of Team Synergy 17U can just flat out score the ball. Give you a mix of threes, pull-ups and finishes at the basket. Really can score at all three levels. Created well for himself and really got out in transition. Got to the basket very well and is a crafty finisher. Plays with strength, poise, and control. Exploded for 38 points in his last game.
6’4 Kobe Jones of Team ELE 17U continues to play well. A long kid who gets to the rim at a very high rate. Really invites and creates contact and lives at the free-throw line. Uses his length to play the passing lanes and get quick steals. Really thrives in the open court in transition. Has the ability to defend multiple positions. Explosive athlete with a quick first step.
6’0 Brock Bowen if CC Elite 2021 is a great shooter, really good off the catch. If he has any space he is letting it go; smooth and quick release. Really efficient player, takes very smart shots and makes good decisions with the ball. Moves well off the ball to get open; the defense has to know where he is every time down the court.
6’5 Dessie Canty Jr. of Upward Stars Watson 17U is a good scorer who can score from everywhere on the court. Attacks the rim and consistently finishes. Shoots the ball well of the catch and finds the gap in the defense. Active, long defender who keeps his hands on the ball. Runs the floor and is crafty in transition. Finished the game with 18 points on 4 made threes.
