The look test is a real thing, and WCBA’s Connor Crabtree passes this look test with flying colors. Crabtree stands 6’6” with a 6’10” wing span. He has deep range and the explosion to finish high above the rim. Without question, Crabtree has all the tools.
After watching Crabtree as he participated in the prestigious North Carolina Top 80, National Recruiting Analyst Clint Jackson of Rivals.com said, “I like 6’6” Junior Connor Crabtree. He is a lengthy ball handler, creator, and shooter who will DUNK ON YOU.”
After watching Crabtree at the same North Carolina Top 80 event, Netcast Sports’ Marcus Shockley stated, “Connor Crabtree, a 6’6” G/F from Orange HS (NC), is an excellent college prospect from the wing. He is an athletic scorer/defender and was very impressive at NC Top 80.”
Clint and Marcus were on to something with Crabtree as a prospect. Even furthering his collegiate reach, Crabtree also carries a GPA around 4.0 which has brought around high academic schools along with the Ivy League (as you will see he already carries multiple Patriot League offers).
Crabtree carries six offers, from UNC Asheville, High Point, American, Western Carolina, Kennesaw St, and Lehigh. He has been heavily recruited by the likes of Davidson, William & Mary, East Carolina and others. Many schools across the board will be watching Crabtree at the Southern Jam Live July 21-24.
