When you bring together the best players in a specific state, it provides a great platform for some to step up and experience a break out. Here are a list of player who showcased various tools that put those in attendance on high notice.

It wouldn’t surprise us to see these players take major steps forward in the upcoming months and years.

6’6 2019 Juwan Purdue (Lakewood HS)
Walking onto the court, you cannot teach this size and length. Watching him play however, he has a natural basketball IQ. Purdue has great natural defensive timing, which allowed him to defend multiple positions. While his game isn’t the flashiest he always makes the right play, it is in the little things that makes him a big time player. As his body continues to develop and he continues to play in big games, watch out – there is the highest level upside here.

6’5 2018 Isaiah Moore (Sumter HS)
Moore has great length and a natural feel. He handles the ball and shows touch beyond the arc. As his confidence continues to grow and he actually believes in how good he is, his game and production could really take off.

6’8 2018 Robert Braswell (Blythewood HS)
This is only Braswell’s second year in the United States so he flies under the radar. You cannot teach his skill and you cannot teach his length. Although slender, Braswell competes under the basket. He also has handle for one and two dribble pull ups and range well beyond the arc. As his body continues to develop the sky could be the limit here.

6’10 2019 Malcom Wilson (Ridge View HS)
Buy now stock. Wilson is so long yet, right now, is so thin. Wilson runs the court very well, he has touch, and good hands. Wilson has very good timing to go along with all the tools to be a big time player. He needs for his strength to catch up with his height, Wilson has major conference upside.

6’7 2019 Donte King (Legacy Charter)
King is very strong and very explosive. While the majority of players on this list have to do with their body filling out, King’s upside comes with the rawness and newness of his game. King is a high flying forward, right now he excels in transition. As he learns the finer nuances of the game, angles, footwork, etc…his game could really take off. There are some young Donte Buford thoughts there.

6’7 2018 Jalen Slawson (Pinewood Prep)
Basketball runs in the Slawson family and Jalen is certainly fitting the mold. He has great size and deep range. In transition, he also showed good athleticism. Once Slawson finds consistency his game could really take off.
