Collin Kuhl

2023 Collin Kuhl (Strong Center)
Personally my first viewing of Collin, and I can’t remember another guy his size that looks so comfortable operating out on the perimeter. His coordination and fluid mobility is off the charts and has the ability to make instinctual reads and passes as he gets downhill. Not to ignore his post-game, which he also excels in, but this is a truly a big guard at 6’8 that college coaches should be all over due to his versatility, skillset, and unselfishness along with proven success this spring with Strong Center.

2023 Micah Jones (Strong Center)
Not to be overshadowed by his exciting big men, Micah has been an eye-popper with arguably the best performances of the day. He’s a quick-twitch point guard that controls every aspect of the game through tempo. He makes you react to him, never the other way around, and has the explosion to make 1 dribble drives to the basket. And as the commander of the offense, he showed a great display of unselfishness and awareness getting others shots whether he had the ball or was directing traffic vocally for others.

2024 Ma’Kyi Butler (Sandhills Cyclones)
Ma’Kyi was the lone underclassman playing on a team of unsigned seniors, but he left his imprint as a leader and gamechanger today. Built like a linebacker and moves like a runningback, his game can revolve inside and out between power moves and his smooth outside shot. He’s a tough mismatch resulting in the defense giving up a lot of fouls simply to slow him down.

2024 Justin Lewis (Strong Center)
One of the most valuable skills in basketball is the ability to finish, and Justin is one of the best I’ve seen this spring. He shows no fear or hesitation attacking the rim and going into bodies, and he makes only necessary adjustments to finish with soft touch and finesse. A quick burst driver, his swiftness off the bounce let him get to his spots all game with genuine ease.

2024 Jullien Cole (Sandhills Machine)
You know when you’re watching someone and they’re special, Julien is simply blessed with so many natural gifts to assemble a great basketball player. His long frame, fluid coordination, and quick feet, along with scoring prowess and touch make him a walking mismatch amongst most bigs or guards who line up with him. And he’s only going to keep improving as he adds some bulk and muscle, improving his post-game. He’s generated good buzz as of late and is one to watch eagerly this summer.

2022 Omarion Farrar (Capital City Pacers)
It takes a lot to stand out amongst so many incredible athletes at our events, but it was impossible to ignore Omarion’s insane athleticism. He literally had the gym rocking at certain points, he’s a long swift forward that can handle the ball and finish at will. He thrives out in the open, looks to dunk everything he puts up and takes initiative as a defender. Absolutely a college-level athlete that could satisfy a coach at the next level if given the chance.

2023 Khalil Genwright (WBC Elite)
Probably the most pure scorer and best overall shotmaker in the event, the name of Khalil’s game is efficiency. Not many misses on the shot chart for him, he produces on all levels but really excels at hitting the dribble pullup even with hands in his face. His frame and athleticism is optimal for a serious 2-way threat, with size to play 1-3 and a willingness to defend and turn you over. His team record should speak for itself too, as they’ve enjoyed a successful spring.
