2026 Landon Haggarty (Team Hope)
Guys like Landon are the reason there’s an expanding usage of positionless basketball. Playing up a level and still one of the biggest guys, he has an uncommon mobility for his frame that allows him to naturally plug in as a bigger guard who is more than capable of making plays on the perimeter or in the open court. He finished with 22 in a dominant opening win, where he converted strong finishes, pushed the ball with the pass, and I fully expect him to be a key guy all week with this group.

2025 Malik Morris (Save Sports)
I’m starting to sense a trend with a lot of these long young bigs I’ve seen lately. Like recent others, Malik is sound defensively as it comes more effortlessly with his build and reach to protect the rim and pursue blocks. I’d say I counted close to 10 swats, and his build makes him practically immovable by others on the block. He has soft touch but his offensive game is due to expand a lot as he develops more coordination with his footwork and a keen aggression towards making moves.

2025 Javon Williams (Team Trezz)
Javon was invaluable in multiple ways for his team, being an infectious battery to charge the team but also as a poised decision maker making everything happen and work together. All game long he hit tough shots, attacked early and got to his spots, and played the game with a heightened sense as he was in constant communication with the bench, truly being an extension of the coach on the court. He owned the moment, vocally leading and essentially just being a guy you want and need on your team.

2025 Derek Ross (NC Wildcats)
Derek has shown on a regular basis to be a polished floor general with all the tools to be a leader who cashes in his while also sharing the wealth with his teammates. It’s uncanny how often he penetrates the paint, practically every possession, and makes the right read to dish off with quick hands or finish with savviness. Although right handed, he actually thrives at breaking you down and getting to his left with his blow-by quickness, and there’s no doubt he’s one of the truest point guards you’ll see in his class.
