Rock Hill will be loaded with talent and Phenom Hoops wants to not only get everyone ready for an exciting event but also make sure we provide exposure for teams and players all throughout. We start previewing teams and players that coaches and fans will want to check out at the event.


Jaiden Morris #2

Jaiden was the starting point guard for Weddington Middle School as an 8th grader. At 5’9’’, Morris is a pass-first point guard but was also the 2nd leading scorer on the team. For his CC Elite team, Jaiden often draws some of the toughest defensive matchups and is a very solid on-ball defender. Morris has a great court sense and has an impressive assist to turnover ratio. He has the ability to get to the basket and has improved his range. Jaiden gained valuable experience attending a Jr. Phenom showcase in the fall. He is a winner who was a valuable member of the 2019 NTBA National Championship Attack365 team based out of Carolina Courts.

Peter Moye #34

Peter was the MVP of his undefeated Carmel Middle School team as an 8th grader. He will attend South Meck High School next year. Moye is a winner who was one of the leading scorers for the 2019 NTBA National Championship Attack365 team based out of Carolina Courts. At 6’1’’, he has always been forced to play mostly in the post at a young age, but make no mistake, he can score in bunches and from anywhere. Peter has probably the best midrange game on the team and is deadly in the high post. He also has the three-point ability and has started to look for that shot more. He runs the floor extremely well and just has an incredible knack for putting the ball in the basket. Peter won the Hustle Award at the Jr. Phenom Showcase he attended in the fall.

Josh Clark #22

Josh was a starter and leader on his Marvin Ridge Middle School team as an 8th grader. The 5’9’’ wing has a tremendous motor, one of the best demeanors as a player, and a natural leader. Josh has a very high basketball IQ and has successfully made the transition from being a post player at a younger age to being a versatile wing. His CC Elite coaches believe this will serve him well as a developing player as he understands all positions and is willing to take on whatever role he is asked. Josh is a winner who was a valuable member of the 2019 NTBA National Championship Attack365 team based out of Carolina Courts.

Aidan Cook #1

Aidan was a starter and leader on his Weddington Middle School team as an 8th grader. As a 5’8’’ point guard, Aidan uses his quickness to be a very solid on-ball defender as well as off the ball in multiple zone defenses. Perhaps his most promising quality is his basketball IQ which includes an impressive ability to see the floor, make good decisions, and advance the ball up the court as well as anyone on the team. Aidan is unselfish almost to a fault as he has become a very solid three-point threat and needs to look to get more shots off. He has gained valuable experience attending multiple Jr. Phenom showcases and playing against a lot of high-level players. Aidan is a winner who was a valuable member of the 2019 NTBA National Championship Attack365 team based out of Carolina Courts.

Ben Gendzel #21

Ben Gendzel is a versatile 5’10’’ wing that can play multiple positions. He has the size and skillset best suited for a wing, but strength and toughness that allows him to play some stretch 4. Ben started for the 14-0 Carmel Middle School team as n 8th grader. He will attend Myers Park High School next year. Gendzel’s high basketball IQ allows him to play wherever asks as he catches on to X’s and O’s quickly and understands each position. He finishes strong at the basket on either side and has a nice three-point shot as well. Ben had some injuries that limited his travel experience in the past. For that reason, CC Elite coaches are really excited to see Ben progress as he gets more experience against high-level competition. He exhibits enthusiasm and leadership abilities that make him a fun player to coach.

Christian McNeil

Christian is possibly the most intriguing player on this CC Elite team. At 6’1’’ his athletic ability is off the charts and he is actually a 2025 recruit playing up. Christian showed on his Porter Ridge Middle School team that he has the ability to get to the basket and finish or step out and hit the occasional three. He has played for high level 2025 teams as well as playing up with CC Elite 2024. Due to his quickness, size, and athleticism, McNeil has the ability to guard any position from point guard to center. He has a great knack for anticipating rebounds and runs the floor and finishes on both sides very well.

Matthew Powers #32

Matthew is a good-sized lefty who was the starting center and a leader on his Weddington Middle School team as an 8th grader. At 6’1’’ he has played in the post at a young age. Matthew communicates and anticipates very well in man to man and zone defenses. He goes aggressively after the rebound every possession and has the athleticism and toughness to guard bigger players down low. He received the Warrior Award in the Weddington High Basketball camp in 2019. Powers has a high basketball IQ and runs the floor very well for a post.

Peyton Reeder #23

Nicknamed “Diesel,” Peyton Reeder stands at 6’4’’ as a 2024 prospect. He was the leading scorer and rebounder for his Socrates Middle School team as the big man down low. Peyton will attend Metrolina High School next year. Peyton has amazed CC Elite coaches with how much he has progressed skill-wise over the last year. He has worked very hard and gained valuable experience against high-level competition.

Malik Ashe #15

Malik was the starting point guard on his Castle Heights Middle School team in South Carolina as an 8th grader. He is a 5’9’’ physically strong ball handler that can’t be pushed around. Malik is an impressive athlete that can really get to the basket. He has a good three-point shot when he has time to set up, but he is very unselfish with the ball. Malik’s CC Elite coaches see him as a player who can really develop into a lead guard who can set teammates up, get to the basket, or knock down shots.
