2022 6’4 Bryce Alfino (Team Charlotte 17u): Alfino played one of his better games on Day 1, really showing to be a two-way player on the court. He not only defended well but also was aggressive on getting on the boards. Offensively, Alfino does a nice job in finding the open spot and knocking down it down from the perimeter.
2021 6’4 Will Reynolds (CPB BLM): Reynolds had a tremendous game scoring on all levels. Aggressively attacked, got to the line, and knocked down shots from behind the arc on his way to 20 points on Day 1.
2022 6’4 AJ Smith (Team Charlotte): Smith really excels with his body and frame aggressively getting downhill but also showing the ability to create around defenders, not just going through them. Time and time again, he scored getting to the rim and finishing in transition.
2021 6’4 Ariel Goddot (Team AKT 17u): Goddot simply made plays, as the wing prospect had a tough matchup. He plays well on defense, guarding multiple positions, and put his body on the line (took multiple charges). Goddot also attacked the gap and used his length to rise over defenders in the lane. Has some bounce as well to his game.
2023 5’10 Chase Dawson (NC Team Disciples): Dawson was terrific to end Day 1, as he scored 27 points for his team. He is a superbly quick guard, makes quick decisions, and has a quick trigger for his shot that he showed, knocking down 6 3-pointers in the game. He did everything he could for his team and certainly planted himself as one to watch in the 2023 class.
