AC Reynolds could surprise a lot of teams this season in the Western Mountain Athletic Conference. They went 18-10 last season and won the Conference regular season and tournament titles. They lost 7 seniors from last years team. But it looks like they reloaded & have a young explosive roster filled with speed, length and athleticism. Coach Stevens is excited about his teams work ethic and camaraderie. The Rockets are looking forward to battling for another conference title this year.

Greyson Faircloth 6’4” Post 2021
Greyson is a long wing that is poised for a breakout season. Good shooter with nice touch on the ball. Coach Steven’s on Greyson: He is a returning senior who has a ton of experience off of last years conference championship team. He will be looked upon to provide leadership to a young group. He provided inside scoring and rebounding a year ago. Greyson has developed his perimeter game in the offseason and will be a threat to stretch the floor.

Malaki Carter 5’8” Guard 2021
Malaki is a lockdown defender & my opinion has the best playmaking abilities in the conference. Coach Steven’s on Malaki: He returns as a starter on last year’s team and is a player that also provides experience along with play-making ability on both ends of the floor. He is extremely quick and has great vision and does a great job of controlling the tempo of the game. He is very good in transition and also guards the ball very well.

Asher Cunningham 6’3” Wing 2023
Asher is a matchup problem for the defense because he’s strong enough to bang inside & athletic enough to play a wing. Coach Steven’s on Asher: He returns as a key contributor from last year’s team and is a player who likely is a difficult matchup for opponents on the interior and perimeter. He is expected to have a breakout year on both ends of the floor. He has a high IQ for the game and is an extremely strong rebounder. He looks to get others involved and runs the floor very well.

Dashawn Stone 6’2” Wing 2023
Dashawn keeps getting better every time I see him play. He also has a ton of upside. Coach Steven’s on Dashawn: He will be looked upon to be an immediate contributor on both ends of the floor. He is a player who has good fundamentals and can stretch the floor with his shot. He will provide length and athleticism on defense. He is a very smart player and very rarely plays outside of himself.

Rakease Passmore 6’3” Post 2024
Rakease is the best freshman in the conference in my opinion. Made a name for himself this travel ball season. A high flyer!! Coach Steven’s on Rakease: He is a great athlete with a tremendous upside. He is extremely active on the defensive end and is explosive in transition. He provides instant rebounding and alters shots very well in the paint. Rakease will be looked upon to have an immediate impact on this team on both ends of the floor.

Logan Mathieu 6’2” Wing 2022
Coach Steven’s on Logan: He will be expected to be an immediate spark on the offensive end. His ability to shoot will stretch defenses. He is a very coachable player and has worked hard in the off-season to improve his game in other areas as well.

Cayden Mobley 5’9” Guard 2023
Cayden is a player that makes other players better. He’s always looking to make the right play on the court. Elite passer & underrated defender. Coach Steven’s on Cayden. He has worked very hard on all facets of his game in the offseason. He posses a high IQ and does not play outside of himself. He does a great job at getting others their shots and controlling the tempo. He has a nice rotation and lift on his shot and almost always makes the correct read.
