What Was Recently Said (5/17/22): Since then, Senyo has racked up the accolades and accomplishments. Last season at Haywood Christian, he posted gaudy per-game averages and carried the offensive load on a nightly basis. This spring, Senyo has consistently shown the ability to effectively run a team against higher levels of competition. He’s a steady floor general who looks to create for others and find scoring opportunities within the flow of the action. Senyo displays nice feel and understands how to cause problems for opponents on either side of the ball. He makes the extra pass, scores at an efficient rate, and does a great job of making his presence felt defensively. Senyo and NLPB should turn heads during the upcoming weekend at our G3 Showcase.
What to Expect:
It’s been an extremely interesting journey for Caleb Senyo over the years. From his days as a young camper to the transition into a legitimate floor general, the growth has been easy to see. Senyo is a balanced point guard who prioritizes setting the floor and getting others involved, but has the necessary scoring chops to assert himself in a variety of ways from all three levels. He’s a quality competitor who plays hard, makes quality decisions, and knows how to make a steady impact on both ends of the floor. Senyo does a great job of playing within himself and the general team concept. He’s a useful defender with an understanding how to effectively play the passing lanes, force turnovers, and make his presence felt in transition. Going forward, Senyo will have the opportunity to prove himself against even higher levels of competition at Scotland Campus. The national schedule should inevitably lead to continued growth in addition to an uptick in recruitment. It’ll be interesting to follow his journey over the next six months.
