Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks. Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.
NC Gaters East
Though the name certainly sounds familiar, the NC Gaters East is one that has players that have been making a name for themselves and proving that they can perform on the court. So we wanted to dive more into a few players that have been raising their level of play this summer so far.
2023 6’2 Colton Taylor is one that is coming off a high school season in which he averaged 16ppg, 6rpg, and 2apg, and has shown in the past to have multiple strong outings throughout his career. He is one that can make plays off the catch or off the bounce.
2024 6’6 Harrison Perel had a quiet high school season, but he averaged over 20ppg at the Phenom Hoops LIVE. Could he be one that breaks out this summer and carries it more into the high school season' We shall see, but the 6’6 prospect was operating and doing work around the basket, knocking down shots, and making an impact felt in a variety of ways.
2023 5’11 Jonovan Wingate was displaying how confident of a shooter he can be on the court. He really can stretch the court with his outside shooting, be a threat from behind the arc consistently but also create for himself in other ways as well. Game after game though, he had his shot falling.
