Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

Team Hustle

Team Hustle DMV 2025

When you talk about this program, this was a team that brought a nice balance to the table and each game, they had a new player step up but there were also several players that were consistent throughout. 2025 Diondre Carson was a consistent presence for much of the event, chipping in and helping lead the team offensively. The 5’10 guard was able to really create and score well inside the arc, as well as find ways to get to the line. 2025 6’0 Bryce Selby had some big performances, including a 26-point outing; overall though, he was active on both ends, consistently attacked the paint, and forced turnovers with his defense. 2025 Lantz Butler and 2025 6’4 Carlos Stephney were also strong presences when called upon.

Team Hustle DMV 2024

Looking at Team Hustle 2024, we are starting with 2024 6’0 Collin Farmer who was a strong presence throughout. He was able to lead the charge at times, mixed it up well, and attacked when the opportunity was there, but also made the defense pay from outside. But he had help, as players like 2024 James Hill and 2024 Jonathan Barkley were also able to knock down shots from outside as well. And then you had others like 2024 Jamir Newell and 2024 Tyrik Petway help in key situations.
