On November 7th, Phenom Hoop Report will be hosting our third annual High School Jamboree at Proehlific Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. Over 30 teams will be making their way to Tournament Town to showcase their talents to a plethora of scouts, college coaches, and passionate fans. After thorough review of the field, our team decided to put together a little “sneak preview” of individual players and teams that people need to keep a close eye on.

2014-2015 RECORD:

Cayse Minor:

Cayse Minor is a name a lot of people aren’t exactly familiar with. After watching this young gun battle throughout the course of summer, it became apparent to us that this guard can compete just about anyone. Minor is a high motor player with the ability to take control at any given moment. Offensively, this guy is fantastic. He’s a consistent scorer with solid size and great vision, making him an absolute threat whenever the ball is in his hands. His beautiful jumper and up-tempo style of play make him an opponent’s nightmare on both sides of the floor. If he can slightly improve a few additional aspects of his game, and work on his ball handling, the 6’3” senior should gain a great deal of attention throughout the course of the season. Look for Minor to have an outstanding tournament this weekend.

Cameron Robinson:

Cameron Robinson is a very unique player with an unreal amount of potential. This 6’5” barbarian is a multi-talented kid that consistently seems to get the job done. Offensively, Robinson can simply do it all. He’s an efficient scorer, a solid distributor, and an absolute beast on the boards. On defense, Robinson is a horse. His length and quickness allow him to virtually guard every position on the floor. He’s a high academic kid with a truly gifted skillset that’s still developing. We’re definitely excited to see how this hoss develops throughout the remainder of his high school career. Watch out Tournament Town, the Robinson show is about to be in full effect.
