For the year, led by Alexander, Creighton finished first in the Big East with a 24-7 record. They finished 7th in the final AP poll of the shortened season. During Big East Conference play, Alexander carried a 2.9 to 1 assist to turnover ratio.

Queens University and Catawba met for the second time this season. In a heated rivalry in the state of North Carolina, these two teams battled it out once again. Queens jumped out early but Catawba used a strong second-half run to get right back in. It came down to the final minutes but Queens secured the big road win 94-84.
