The Phenom Grassroots TOC is this weekend in Rock Hill/Fort Mill, as it is the first LIVE Period with Phenom Hoops this season. The talent pool runs deep throughout and we want to give college coaches a leg up on who to watch and who will be in action. Here are a few players to check out for each team, presented by the head coach.
FBP Elite (Cobb)
Alonzo Hester (Junior) – 5’5
Class of 2025
PG
Facilitating point guard with the ability to get downhill to create for others or finish at the rim around bigger defenders. Alonzo is a solid perimeter shooter and pressures the basketball on defense at a high level.
Khaliq Lasiter – 5’9
Class of 2025
Combo Guard
A two-way player that is able to defend the basketball at a high level and get to the rim at will. A coachable athlete that thrives in playing in the open court.
Khimorean Smith (Sean) – 6’4
Class of 2025
Forward
Athletic wing that can get to his spots when needed. Great open court finisher and able to step out and make open shots from the wing and midrange.
