Each and every time Phenom Hoops gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Braylhan Thomas
Class: 2024
Committed to: Georgia Southern

What Has Been Said:

“It had been a bit since seeing Thomas in action, but he didn’t disappoint with his play. He led the charge on the court for the Upward Stars Carolina, and one can see why schools are looking to target him more. Thomas knows to be that assertive offensive weapon, as time after time he can put up big numbers. His athleticism and his ability to score downhill are impressive, finishing strong around the basket and at the rim, while also stepping out to knock down shots.  He knows how to produce, and college coaches continue to notice.”

“Thomas has certainly been bringing in offers, as the offensive-minded prospect has really been filling it up and showing what he can bring to the table.  Thomas has shown on several occasions that he can fill it up; whether it is scoring inside and out, finishing with tremendous bounce, knocking down shots, or finishing through contact.  College coaches were swarming the baseline at the event and Thomas was able to impress, as he has earned multiple offers since the event. Expect that to only continue.”

“He’s a tough, rugged, polished wing prospect with the ability to outwork his assignment in a variety of different ways. Thomas is a terrific defender and rebounder who forces turnovers at a healthy rate and thrives in transition. He’s able to pile on points from all levels, and has the necessary creation skills to generate clean shots for himself on a regular basis. Coach Geter on Thomas: “Braylhan is a great athlete who plays tremendous defense. He’s a bonafide bucket-getter. Can work on making the extra pass at times and staying locked in when the game isn’t going his way. Rebounds the ball well on both ends. Has unlimited range.” Thomas enjoyed a strong showing at camp, securing the Mr. Offense award, and should be a difference-maker for Moravian Prep going forward.”
