2025 EJ Walker talks about latest and upcoming visits
Walker was back in the news again, as he earned another big offer over the weekend after taking a visit. This past weekend, Walker was able to take an unofficial visit to Ohio State, a visit that he certainly enjoyed. And from that visit, the sophomore was able to walk away with an offer from the Buckeyes.
“The offer was a surprise for me and my parents,” Walker said. “I was excited and happy that I got the offer from the Ohio State University. We met with Coach Holtman and Diebler before the game, and that is when he offered me. Told me he is looking forward to building a relationship and showing me what the Ohio State program and culture have to offer.”
“It is a great program with great coaches,” Walker continued. “They do a great job with players in my hybrid 4 position in the past. They do a great job developing their players on and off the court.”
Walker also discussed more about his visit with us at Phenom Hoops.
“The visit went great, I got to spend time with the staff this time. This was my second visit. The first time we went to a football game. I liked the atmosphere of the game and I really enjoyed talking with all the coaches. That is important to me to have a good relationship with everyone on staff.”
As of right now, Walker doesn’t have any other planned visits set up yet but did mention that he will visit a couple of schools for the first time in the spring, then hope to get back to all the schools we already visited in the summer.
