It was a battle in Charlotte, as West Charlotte and Vance battled it out on at Thursday night. Vance came in undefeated but West Charlotte is a rising power in the state. On Friday night, Vance travelled across I-77 to take on Hopewell. Vance was able to improve their record on the year to 2-0 with the 81-58 win. Vance’s Moreland sisters playing a big role in championship run
The Cougars sit with a 26-5 overall record and are still looking to face off against Southeast Raleigh in the championship game. Vance has used a balanced attack all year long, with six players averaging double-figures this season. However, the play of 2021 Amhyia Moreland and 2022 Trinity Moreland have helped lead the way.
