The Phenom High School Jamboree once again served as the perfect stage for new talent to make their presence felt. While established programs and proven stars drew plenty of attention, it was the new names—those hungry competitors looking to carve out their spot—that truly stole the show. From breakout performances to unexpected standouts, this event highlighted just how deep the talent pool runs heading into the 2025–26 season.
2027 Obama Madut (Mt. Zion)
Madut was an intriguing new name for me, and I’m eager to see more of his game and development. As a 6’8 prospect on the court, he brings tremendous length and impact to the floor. Offensively, he moves and runs the floor extremely well, being comfortable operating from a variety of areas but also using his long wingspan to his advantage on the glass and touch around the basket. Defensively, he walls up well, makes himself long, and is disruptive overall. Madut showed that he could be an effective scoring option with potential in his game.
2026 Luca Sarnowska (Calvary Day)
Sarnowska certainly introduced himself to several people, and I believe you may see his name pop up more down the road this year from Calvary Day. This 6’4 guard prospect brings energy, competes, attacks, brings athleticism, and scores the ball well. Sarnowska impressed with his ability to get up and finish at the rim with multiple impressive dunks, but also create off the bounce for himself. He shows a competitive nature and a contagious energy that helps fuel his team, as he had several strong performances throughout the day.
2026 Zane Saunders (Flight 22)
Zane Saunders is a 6’8 fluid forward who is comfortable being effective from a variety of levels and areas. He brings good size, moves well, is quicker than most bigs, can operate inside and out comfortably, rebounds well, and can defend multiple positions on the floor. Saunders showcased his fluidity as a scorer around the basket but can knock down shots with his face-up game as well. Not to mention, he plays hard and competes on the glass.
2026 Hayden Roberts (Believe Prep)
Believe Prep always brings players that love to compete and Robets looks to be another guard in the program that understands what it takes to lead his team. He averaged nearly 20 points per game at the event, proving he is comfortable in being the go-to scoring option for his team. He brings a strong overall scoring presence, has a strong motor, creates and attacks well off the bounce, competes on both sides of the floor, and was able to set the tone for this team throughout the event.
2027 Jayvon Foster (Seventy First)
Foster made it clear that he is going to be one of the go-to options again for this team, and he impressed many with what he was able to show. A smaller yet quick and crafty guard, he was able to dictate where he wanted to go, attacked downhill consistently, scored from multiple levels from the floor, and played with confidence. Loved his ability to get by defenders and get paint touches consistently, but mixed it up well from the perimeter also.
