
Several new players will be looking to make themselves a name in North Carolina next year and Phenom Hoops wanted to introduce fans to another name. 2022 6’4 Rasheed Baldwin is coming from Timber Creek high school in Florida and will now be playing at Cox Mill, a program that had an impressive season under head coach Ty Johnson.
Last year as a sophomore, Rasheed averaged 9.0 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game, knocking down 51 3-pointers and shooting 42 percent from the floor.
So, what will he be bringing to Cox Mill'
“I can handle the ball very well and I can stretch the floor with my ability to shoot the ball really well,” Baldwin told Phenom Hoops. “I can play any position from the 1-3 spot. On the offensive end, I love to shoot the ball but my main focus is to get my teammates involved and create for others. What I hope to bring to Cox Mill is my willingness to work hard and that competitive spirit and also to be a great teammate on and off the court.”
Baldwin will be playing with Team M.O.A.M this season and will be focusing on getting better with his ball-handling, as well as his strength and explosiveness.
