Hayesville
Record: 25-4 overall/ 11-1 conference

The Yellow Jackets put together a 25-win season, cruising through conference play or much of the year after starting the season 6-2, both losses coming by a total of four points.  Head Coach Michael Cottrell had his team rolling, with their only hiccup coming against Cherokee but eventually getting revenge in the tournament championship.  They secured two double-digit wins in the 1A playoffs as well.

Cherokee
Record: 18-10 overall/ 9-3 conference

Cherokee started the season with a 2-0 record but stumbled soon after, starting the season with a 4-4 overall record.  But in mid-January, they started to put wins together, winning 10 in a row including a big win on the road vs. Hayesville. They secured a 3-point win in the opening round of the 1A playoffs but fell shortly after.

Andrews
Record: 18-7 overall/ 8-4 conference

Head coach Frank Maennle and the Wildcats started the season off with a 10-0 record and continued to find success for much of the season, finishing with an 8-4 conference record. Two juniors led the way, both putting up some impressive numbers. Kabe Ellis averaged 20.8 points while Tucker Holloway wasn’t far off averaging 17.3 points.

Swain County
Record: 14-11 overall/ 7-5 conference

The Maroon Devils struggled to find their rhythm early on, starting the season 1-4 but started to put some impressive wins together, both on the road and in the conference.  It helped them get over .500 overall and in conference play and could be building on something for next year.  Judaiah Littlejohn finished his junior season averaging 16.0 points and 5.1 rebounds, while sophomore Donnavin Groenewold averaged 15.7 points

Murphy
Record: 10-14 overall/ 5-7 conference

There are some bright things you can take away from this season.  The Bulldogs finished with a senior night win over Andrews and had several losses that just didn’t go their way, falling by single digits.  They also were able to go 4-5 on the road, something to build upon.

Robbinsville
Record: 3-20 overall/ 1-11 conference

It was a rough season to the Black Knights but they did secure back-to-back wins in February against Rosman and Hiwassee Dam.

Rosman
Record: 2-20 overall/ 1-11 conference

The Tigers secured their lone conference win vs. Robbinsville, splitting the regular season against them.
