Each and every time Phenom Hoops gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

“One prospect that had all the scouts talking and really created a buzz with her game was 2024 5’10 Isa Roman from Cardinal Gibbons. Roman ultimately showcased her talent enough to earn Ms. Playmaker at the event, but she also really opened up more eyes to her game overall. When watching her game, she was terrific when the ball was in her hands; she had a different mindset on the court, wanting the ball in her hands and looking to make plays in a variety of ways. She was a leader on the court, she was vocal, and she competed on both sides of the floor. Roman has a tremendous feel for the game, as well as IQ. She plays confidently and did a fantastic job in showing how crafty she can be, and her ability to be that playmaker. Roman saw the floor, found open teammates, created off the dribble for herself and others, and was able to score in a variety of ways. She checks off a lot of boxes as one you want to have on the floor with the ball in her hands.”
“Next, we look at a player that made a lasting impression through her craftiness and impressive polish, Isa Roman. She’s a smart, skilled, tough guard prospect with the ability to get basically whatever she wants offensively. Roman is excellent creator who utilizes her quick first step and tight handle to consistently break down opponents and make plays off the bounce. Between her smooth jumper and sharp penetration sense, she’s able to apply scoring pressure at a nonstop rate. Roman also moves well without the ball and understands how to effectively spot-up along the perimeter. She defends her position and rebounds the ball well as a guard.
