School: Worth County High School, GA

Williams is an electric athlete who is a lethal three-point sniper with unlimited range. Explosive off the bounce with sick handles and a ton of athletic crafty moves that allow him to score at will. Ashton is an electrifying 3-level scorer, a jaw-dropping passer, mixes up well on the boards, and is a fierce defender. This past season Ashton averaged 25 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals per game and also joined the 1,000 career points club as a junior earning 1st Team All-Region, the most improved scorer by Kyle Sandy, and The All-State honorable mention by Kyle Sandy. Ashton’s biggest improvement from last season is his scoring. He took it to another level. The most motivating thing Ashton did this season was have an army veteran come train his team and see his team stand up for each other and help each other. Ashton will work his hardest this offseason to get in shape and change his frame. Playing for the GA Stars, his EYBL’s goal for this AAU season is to show people what he can do with his talent. Ashton’s goal for the upcoming season is to win a state championship with a personal goal for next season averaging 30. points per game. Ashton’s 3-point range separates him from everyone and can make them even through contact.

Height: 6’4, 185
Class of 2026
School: Spain Park High School, AL

Fox is a three-point sniper with a smooth touch. But is crafty and creative off the bounce getting into the lane for quick pull-ups. Sam has a knack for finding holes to get those shots off and with his size easily elevates over defenders. And Sam can finish strong at the rim as well. Sam has worked hard to be an efficient three-level scorer and is determined to get even better. His passion is to be as creative as possible for himself and his teammates to make game-winning plays. Sam also uses that size to mix it up on the boards effectively. Sam is a solid defender but wants to be great at it. Last season Same averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists while battling through a foot injury half the season. Playing for OFW Galaxy this AAU session, Sam has made his goal to better himself as an overall player and teammate by putting in the work and having good habits on both sides of the ball while continuing to grow as a leader on and off the court. Sam will focus on adding more strength training, ball handling, and learning to rest and recover. Sam’s goals for the upcoming season are to be a standout player and a better leader who will motivate his teammates to play to the best of their ability while being positive and consistent proving he is a trustworthy player on the court that can lead his team to more wins. The most motivating thing was while he battled through that injury that made him sit for a few weeks, Sam realized how important the game of basketball is to him and his love for the game grew substantially. and has made it his mission to become the best basketball player he can be. This was a strong lesson on how to deal with adversity. It is clear to Sam that things happen on the court and he just needs to stay calm and focus on the next play and let go of the setback.

Andon “AJ” Newton

Newton is an explosive triple-threat sniper. AJ is an elusive, quick point guard who can not only score but play tenacious defense, with nonstop hustle. A dynamic playmaker who can gracefully bring a team of various talents together to play together cohesively. A team player and a leader! The perfect floor general that can impact every phase of the game. AJ also uses all that energy to mix it up on the boards. In the 2023 season, AJ averaged 11.3 points, 2.1 assists, 2.3 steals, and 3.7 rebounds per game. This season AJ turned that up and elevated that solid performance to 15.9 points, 5.5 assists, 5.1 steals, and 5.3 rebounds per game in 2024. AJ comes into the AAU session playing for @FYNALLSTARS of improving on nutrition, getting stronger, finishing at the rim, and minimizing his turnovers. AJ is committed to getting better every day establishing he can play on all levels. On the court, AJ remains composed and knows how to shut out the noise. when facing adversity and will also bring good positive energy to his team whether they are playing well or bad holding himself and his teammates accountable and calling them out if necessary. AJ is very vocal and passionate about how he and his team is performing. AJ has been playing basketball since was in diapers. When his parents tell him “they love seeing him play” now his family comes deep to his games to support him, AJ wants to make them proud and his team proud. He has had a different coach every year and has played varsity basketball and this is tough. He understands that basketball is building his character. It makes him adaptable, flexible, accountable, a leader, etc. His aunt, his dad’s only sister, passed away last year. Before she passed away she found some strength to come watch me play a few games. Seeing her smile knowing she was in pain reminds him that I shouldn’t complain and he should make the best out of what life throws at me. Whatever role AJ is needed to play he will give 100% effort to be the best at it. AJ will lead by example so you will catch him putting in hours outside of practice during the season & off-season. AJ just needs to go somewhere he knows the coach believes in him. My assessment is AJ is a high-level performer destined for great things. This young star has intangibles you just can’t teach.

Avery Collins

Height: 6’1, 160
Class of 2026
School: Erie First Christian Academy, PA

Collins is a fierce triple-threat scoring machine. Even with defenders in his jersey, slowing him down is no easy task. With unlimited range, Avery can drain the long bomb or get into the lane and punish defenders with that quick pull-up no matter how tightly he is guarded. Or he just makes it look easy finishing at the rim even through contact. A walking bucket. Avery loves to get out in transition for easy scores off his defense. Last season, averaged 24.1 points per game, with 52 3s made, and 83% free throws. Along the way, Avery was the leading scorer in District 10, first-team all-district, first-team all-region, and second-team all-state. Playing for SPS has set goals to get an offer from a college by the end of summer, become a sponsored Puma team while focusing on improvement, understanding he has to continue to be a consistent scorer, extend my range more, and become a better passer especially out of the pick and roll. Avery’s goals for the upcoming season are goals are to win a district championship, and a state championship and be the leading scorer in the state. This motivation comes from losing in the first round of the playoffs this year. What fuels Avery’s fire on the court is getting ready for a big game, playing in front of lots of people, and just getting another chance to play the game I love. Avery handles adversity by trusting in all the work he puts in and knowing that shots will fall even if he misses a couple. Coaches should know Avery is very coachable and will do whatever is asked of him and because he is always in the gym working to get better, pushing himself to be a competitor knowing he will always give it his all on the court.

Jarett Simpson
Twitter: @jarettsimpson
Height: 6’7, 196
Class of 2026
School: Southwestern High School, KY

Simpson is a crafty big man with a soft touch. Jarett is shifty and creative as he is an imposing force with his nice size. Jarett knows how to work that low post with incredible footwork and a deadly right-handed hook shot. Jarett is a truly gifted finisher around the rim. But he flexes his versatility by being a high post player who can shoot the midrange while being a playmaker by facilitating to my teammates while also stepping out and shooting the 3 ball. Jarett puts in the work on the boards on both ends. Jarett is a real problem for bigs to match up with as his versatility keeps the defense off-balanced and guessing at exactly what he will do any time he touches the ball. Jarett is solid defensively as well and becoming a nice rim protector.
This past season Jarett averaged 11.4 points and 7.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks a game. For AAU Jarett played with Vision Elite last year and also played with Vision Select and averaged 16.5 points and 10.2 rebounds a game with them. Jarett’s favorite achievement from last season was dropping 25 on the elite team. When they played them last year it was in the championship game at a vision tournament which made his breakout game even more impressive and meaningful. Jarett’s biggest improvement from last season is his three-point shooting. Jarett wasn’t a good 3-point shooter his freshman year and was determined to put in the work to change that. The hard work is paying off as Jarett has improved his shot and has elevated that 3-point shot since his freshman year. trying to model his game after Carmelo Anthony because of his midrange game and his post-up moves while also stepping out and shooting it well. but Jarett’s goal this high school season is to win district and to become known as one of the best players in the 12th region while helping his team win that region and make it to Rupp and shock the state and put the state on notice.
