The high school season across North Carolina has been filled with high-level performances, and the Class of 2026 continues to prove why it is one of the most talent-rich groups in the state. From putting up eye-catching numbers to consistently impacting winning on both ends of the floor, these players are not just showing flashes—they’re delivering big seasons night after night. Whether it’s scoring production, playmaking, defensive presence, or overall leadership, each prospect on this list has elevated their game and become a focal point for their program. Here’s a closer look at the impact performers in the Class of 2026 who are making their mark across North Carolina this season.
2026 Maverick Ball (North Hills Christian)
Whether it has been in summer ball or with his high school team, Ball continues to shine with his production and simply knows how to put on a show. Averaging 29.6 points per game, Ball thrives with his ability to knock down shots and create, as he is a versatile scorer that can fill it up from all levels. He has good size and strength, as he continues to open eyes as a sneaky prospect to watch, as he has earned multiple offers in the last year.
2026 Jamie Dance (Currituck County)
Dance is one we introduced to everyone a while back when he was a freshman, and he has only continued his strong player. Averaging an impressive 27ppg this season, Dance continues to bring big production as he has Currituck County in a great position this season. Dance continues to flourish as a scorer with his quickness and impact on both sides of the ball. He moves well without it and can knock down shots from multiple levels. He continues to be a big-time senior out east that should continue to get looks late.
2026 Kingsley Donaldson (Union Pines)
Donaldson is one who put on a memorable performance in front of our scouts, and we recently wrote about him not long ago. In that article, we had this to say: “Offensively, Donaldson knows how to apply consistent pressure from ten feet and in. He’s arguably at his best when posting up and scoring within the paint but can also knock down midrange jumpers at a nice percentage. Donaldson utilizes his high motor and long arms to reliably control the glass on both ends of the floor. He’s capable of pushing the break if needed, but primarily looks to fill the lane and capitalize on easy scoring chances in transition. Donaldson also does a great job of seizing second-chance opportunities.” On the season, he is averaging 25ppg and 13rpg for his team.
2026 Cade Keller (Watauga)
Keller is a guard who may go under the radar but has continued to flourish in leading his team. Averaging over 24 points per game at Watauga, Keller continues to show his ability to be a senior leader. He’s a knockdown shooter with a nice combination of IQ, creation skills, and off-ball ability. Keller is a well-rounded player who knows how to find success with or without the ball in his hands. He’s capable of filling it up from beyond the arc, but also attacks closeouts, makes the extra pass, and finishes around the basket. Keller is a scrappy defender with a willingness to make hustle plays whenever possible.
2026 Josiah Guyton (Lincolnton)
Guyton was a player who grabbed our eyes this past Fall League and has only carried that into the season at Lincolnton. He is a long and lengthy prospect that really impresses with his ability to score off the bounce, display strong athleticism, and make an impact in a variety of areas. He always seems to find ways to get involved in the game, whether it is scoring from multiple levels, finishing at the rim, or being an impactful player on the defensive side of the ball. He has had a strong season, averaging nearly 24 points per game at Lincolnton
