From the opening tip 71st took over the game by controlling the boards. Their willingness to rebound provided many second chance opportunities. 71st took those opportunities and turned them into points. Seaforth played zone making 71st proved they can make shots. Due to a collective effort from beyond the arc, 71st was able to pull away from Seaforth and make a run. Seaforth trying to chip their way back into the game only led to forcing bad shots and getting stopped. That formula was the key to 71st growing their commanding lead. Seaforth, as hard as they played, just couldn’t seem to buy a made bucket.
