Milestones like this don’t come often, and when they do, they deserve the spotlight. At the Phenom 828 Showcase, Fort Mill head coach Myron Lowery reached a historic achievement, earning the 400th win of his illustrious career while guiding his team to an impressive road victory. Known throughout the Carolinas for his consistency, leadership, and ability to build winning programs, Lowery’s latest milestone was the perfect reflection of his impact on the game—combining team success, player development, and a legacy that continues to grow.
Fort Mill hit the road to take on a Maiden team that was looking to prove itself against one of the top teams in South Carolina. It was an early battle between the two teams, with Maiden jumping out early and Fort Mill fighting back. Once Fort Mill was able to capture the lead, they started to quickly pull away behind the play of 2026 AJ Washington and 2028 Jermier Nelson. In the second half, they seemed to be in cruise control behind a balanced attack, eventually winning 81-46 on the road.
It was a great overall day for the program, not only getting everyone involved and showcasing how talented this team can be when everyone is clicking. But it was a great day for Coach Lowery, who has been a staple around the region for quite some time now.
He joined the Fort Mill program a few years back as an assistant and was promoted to head coach. Before then, he was a head coach for 23 years in the Charlotte area, including Harding, Providence, and Butler.
Now, on a great night of basketball in the Maiden area, Coach Lowery hti a monumental mark in his career with his 400th win. But that number will only continue to go up with the roster he has this season and future seasons ahead.
Congratulations again, Coach Lowery, on hitting a huge milestone.
