EVALUATION
Chris Lykes, a four-star point guard playing for Team Takeover (DC) in the Nike EYBL, is one of the most electrifying guards I have ever seen. He is a 5’7 guard who is simply a bucket. He shoots the ball so well from anywhere on the court because he is constantly moving without the ball.
As a point guard, he has a super quick and smooth handle, which allows him to get past defenders with ease. One part of his game that I noticed is that when he drives to the basket, he goes at the defenders so aggressively. Another thing I noticed is that he is a great passer and his vision is off the charts. He is unselfish and is constantly looking for his teammates.
Overall, he is flat out fun to watch and just a pure bucket. There is a reason he won WCAC POY…
