2026 Kohl Rosario entered the picture here in North Carolina just over a year ago and has made the biggest impression on scouts and college coaches so far. From holding a few offers to now being sought after by bluebloods, Rosario has been a hot topic for many. We spoke with Rosario to learn about the latest.
Phenom Scouting Report:
“Big fan of 2026 Kohl Rosario (CP3 EYBL 2026). He is going to make a program very happy with his work ethic, his focus and mindset, his athleticism, and his ability to score from so many levels. Does what is needed for his team, but also a human highlight reel.”
“Rosario has been one of my favorite players to watch this season. Of course, his highlight reels speak for themselves with his impressive athleticism along with his ability to finish at the rim. But his game is so much more than that; he is a strong guard that fits well within the offense, doesn’t force anything, and takes what is given, whether that is attacking the basket or knocking down shots. He plays with an excellent overall feel and is a tremendous teammate on and off the court.”
Recruitment Update:
Talk about one of the fastest rising prospects not only in North Carolina but possibly nationally, Rosario has seen his recruitment skyrocket. Since the start of the year, Rosario has added offers from Villanova, Baylor, Oregon, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Florida State, Texas A&M, USF, BYU, Providence, Iowa, Boston College, and most recently from Kansas, Duke, and North Carolina.
With two in-state bluebloods and Kansas now entering the picture, things seem to be REALLY heating up as Rosario has been and will continue to be hitting the road, having a busy schedule this summer.
When asked about Duke, Rosario had this to say:
“My first thoughts was that this is a great opportunity,” Rosario said. “We are building a great relationship with Coach Scheyer and Coach Dildy.”
Then asked about the North Carolina offer:
“They have been recruiting me for about two weeks. It is a great opportunity as well. They said I would be a great fit and they asked my interest. Then they offered me.”
As we mentioned, Rosario will be having a busy schedule with several visits already set. He will be first taking a visit to Oregon (June 4-5), then Kansas (June 17-18), then Texas A&M (June 22-23), Duke (June 26-27), Baylor (June 29-30), and lastly North Carolina/ Florida State in the first week of July.
