It is easy to see that Alabama has been one of the top teams in the country, and has proven it all season long as they now sit at 26-4 and are coming off a tough win vs. Auburn to secure the SEC regular-season championship.

The Crimson Tide brings incredible balance to the court, led by one of the top players in the country in Brandon Miller who is averaging nearly 20 points per game and eight rebounds. But when you look down at the roster, there are plenty of other names that are quite familiar to the Phenom Hoops platform.

Mark Sears: 13.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.7apg
Noah Clowney: 10.0ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.0pg
Jaden Bradley: 7.5ppg, 3.7apg
Charles Bediako: 5.7ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.6bpg
Nick Pringle: 3.2ppg, 2.7rpg

Sears is one that impressed us in the past when we watched him in high school, and we have plenty of things to say about him. In fact, we had this to say about Sears: “This young man is tough on the floor and can be a steal for any program at the next level. Whether you need him to score, he can score inside and out, can be a knockdown shooter but also has a smooth feel/pace getting to the basket. But he also can make an impact in other ways.” And it seems that all that is true, as he plays with such an edge and has proven he can play at any level.

Clowney is another that we have watched since he was a freshman, and knew there was something special about him.  But he has proven himself above and beyond as a freshman; he has the size, the length, the athleticism, and really has expanded his game even more.

Bradley is the point guard of the future, but he is showing why he was one of the top point guards in the country. He understands the game, has a great feel, and is smooth in how he operates. But he also has continued to develop, showcase his ability to make plays for others and himself, and the future looks bright for him.

Bediako was a star when we watched him on multiple occasions. We had this to say about him years ago: “What don’t you like about someone with his size, his mobility, and his impact on the game all over the floor' He has a tremendous wingspan and battled through contact down in the post but he also showcased his mobility and versatility as well.” And he also brings a tremendous presence defensively as well.

And Pringle is yet another forward that caught our attention back in 2019. There was a lot to like and you could see the potential, as you can read about it all here: Click Here

Alabama has high hopes for this season, including potentially a national title. The roster is impressive, and it has been fun to watch so many familiar faces finding success on the biggest of stages.
