The Butler Bulldogs will be looking a bit different this upcoming season, though there are still a few familiar faces on the team. After finishing 15-13 overall last year, Butler will be losing two key seniors in 2025 Caleb Milligan and 2025 Reece Starnes, both of whom impacted the game in a variety of areas. But, even with those losses, there is still expectations for this team coming into the season with a key leader returning but also others taking the next step in their development.
2026 Terrance Badio
2027 Isaiah White
2026 Eli Grier
2026 Ian Tomlinson
2027 Stefan Ross
2027 Aree Branch
2028 Eli Stone
and others
Badio is a combo guard that is the returning scoring leader from last season, as we expect him to lead the way once again. After averaging 14.4 points per game as a junior, he will be counted on even more to help replace key seniors who produced last year ,and he certainly has the talent to do just that. He is an effective scoring option that can attack and create, as well as knock down shots, as he has shown the ability to get inside defenses and finish as well as be a threat from the perimeter.
After Badio, though, Butler will need some new players to step up this season. 2026 Eli Grier and 2027 Isaiah White would be the two next, as they were able to contribute nicely last year for the Bulldogs. However, they will be counted on to take that next step and really introduce themselves for this team, as they hope to bring a balanced attack. Then you have players like 2026 Ian Tomlinson, 2027 Aree Branch, and others who will be counted on even more this year. With the loss of 2025 Milligan and Starnes, especially with what they were able to bring a variety of areas on the court, several new names will need to elevate their play while Badio continues to lead the charge.
