TLAP 77 – Believe Prep Academy Blue 76
What a game this was between these two post-grad programs. It was only fitting that it came down to the end in this one. TLAP and Believe Prep battled back and forth for much of the first half, as Amahrie Simpkins and Deyton Albury led the charge for Believe Prep, and Nygell Verdier and Sean Ruthledge led a balanced attack for TLAP. TLAP held a small lead for much of the second half but Believe Prep came back, chipping away. Darnell Evans led the way for Believe Prep, scoring 23 of his 29 points in the second half.
Eventually it was tied and Jaquan Scott went to the line for TLAP, hitting one. Scott made a huge defensive effort at the end to save the day and ultimately win the champioship for TLAP.
