The East Meck Eagles look ready to turn heads this upcoming season, fueled by a roster that blends size, athleticism, and relentless energy. This is a group that thrives on toughness and effort, with several players already proving they can step into key roles. From versatile scorers who can attack the rim to scrappy guards who bring nonstop hustle, the Eagles have a balanced mix of talent across multiple classes and they have shown that at the Phenom Hoop State Fall League. With promising returners and young prospects stepping up in the Hoop State Fall League, East Meck is shaping up to be a team that competes hard, plays with edge, and brings plenty of excitement to the court this year.

2027 6’6 Nixon Wright

Wright could be in for a big year in helping lead this team, as the 6’6 prospect brings tremendous athleticism, physicality, and size to help this team. Time after time, you can see him attacking downhill and getting to the rim relentlessly, as he could open up some more eyes his way this year.

2027 5’7 Bryon Ruff

Ruff is a scrappy, smaller guard that doesn’t’ back down and continues to battle on the court. Can create and use his speed to attack and score, as well as create.  Loved his energy on both sides of the court.

2026 6’2 Braylen Caldwell

Caldwell does what a team needs him to do on the court, as I was impressed with his defensive presence, his overall activity, and ability to make plays as an offensive weapon throughout his time in the Fall League.

2028 6’0 Zavion Funderburk

Funderburk opens up the offense with his shot-making, as he brings confidence in getting to his spots and showing range in his game.

If East Meck can continue to build on the energy and effort they’ve shown so far, this is a group that could quickly surprise opponents and climb the ranks throughout the season. With them bringing some key guys, along with several other names contributing, the Eagles have a core that can make an impact on both ends of the floor. Add in their collective toughness and willingness to compete, and East Meck looks poised to bring plenty of excitement and be a program worth watching closely this year.
