The summer keeps rolling along and Phenom Hoops continues to develop new storylines to watch. One player that intrigued us this weekend at the Phenom Summer Showcase was 2026 6’4 Kaleel Benjamin from Sun Valley and CP3 Academy.
Benjamin is an intriguing prospect with his blend of size at 6’4, versatility, and his steady growth. Over the years, he has continued to develop his overall feel and add more to his repertoire, showing a strong overall skillset. When talking about his game, he continues to flourish with his ability to finish at the rim, attack the board, and be able to play multiple positions. But he also is adding more to his offensive game, making him more of a well-rounded player who still has upside left in his game. He was able to remind everyone over the weekend of his potential, leading the charge, being a strong scoring option, and being active on both sides of the court. And now, with key seniors gone from Sun Valley, Benjamin could be a name to breakout this summer and the upcoming season.
