Summer ball is such a key time for prospects to elevate and showcase their talents on a national stage, and plenty of players have done just that. One player though that has CLEARLY elevated his play and has been making a lot of noise this summer is 2025 6’4 Taurus “TJ” Lewis.
Lewis has been putting on an offensive clinic, and it started at the Phenom G3 Live, in which he averaged nearly 20 points per game. And then he backed that up on several occasions at the Phenom MDC, which included showings of 17pts, 18pts, 32pts, and 25pts.
He has been off the charts in his ability to get to his spots and create scoring opportunities. Lewis has been a strong creator in pushing the tempo, attacking downhill, and picking his spots from all levels to score. He excels in using his length and athleticism to finish at the rim and over defenders but is also extremely comfortable in pulling up with his mid-range game or his range from behind the arc. Lewis is comfortable in handling the weight of being a scorer for his team, but plays with a nice pace and tempo, makes high-IQ decisions, and can make plays on both sides of the ball.
Lewis’ stock has risen to another level and after his play in the last few events, he has been picking up college interests from multiple levels. And his rise may not be over, as he should continue to make a statement this summer.
