Recently at the Adidas Championships down in Rock Hill, Phenom Hoops had a great opportunity to watch players from all areas and ages. There were plenty of names that we walked away impressed by, and that included 2027 Antonio Pemberton with Mass Rivals Nation.
Playing up on 17u for them and on the big stage, I was highly impressed with the freshman’s composure and feel for the game at his age. He didn’t seem to be bothered playing against older competition and took on the challenge. Pemberton is a 6’0 prospect who will be looking to help lead the charge early at Bradford Christian Academy, and though he is young for his age, he certainly isn’t afraid of the bright lights and embraces it. He makes smart decisions, plays well within the offense, finds his teammates well and does a nice job facilitating, and plays with a ton of poise.
Though it is still early, Pemberton would be a name that I would jot down quickly and watch more, as he should only continue to get better, showcase more of his game, and continue to be a leader on the floor for his team.
