Carolina Pressure 2024 prove itself in a big way

I would say the biggest storyline coming away from the weekend is the play of Carolina Pressure 2024, a team that we have highlighted before the event but they made a statement down in Rock Hill over the weekend.  They ultimately walked away from the event undefeated from the event, starting the weekend off on Friday with an impressive double-digit win. Then they backed it up with a huge statement win vs. Upward Stars 2024 and followed that up with a double-digit win vs. Richmond Jammers as well on Saturday.  And then they ended the weekend in style with a tough, hard-fought victory vs. Team CP3 2025.  This is a program that may go under the radar but they have talent to be found, they compete no matter what, and they walked away from the event making a huge statement.

CP3 2026 is loaded with young talent to learn

CP3 has always been a program that has talent, and they continued to showcase that all weekend long with their programs.  But when you look at the young talent that CP3 2026 brings to the court, you have to get excited about the future. They were dominant all weekend long with four double-digit wins, and players like 2026 Cole Cloer, 2026 Dionte Neal, 2026 Ashton Pierce, so on and so on, this CP3 15u is loaded with rising talent that you will be hearing a lot about in the coming years; so I would suggest starting learning about them now.

Credit to Team Charlotte and their play in Rock Hill

I have to give credit to what I saw from Team Charlotte overall as a program.  Led by their coaching staff, this is a hard-fighting program that comes to compete, make a statement, and prove themselves every time they step on the court.  Team Charlotte 17u nearly went undefeated at the event, just falling short by one point in OT vs. the Richmond Jammers.  But this is a program that has incredible talent, players that go a bit under the radar but compete, and they really brought the fight to the court each time they stepped on the court.

Fun to watch Team Curry 2025 in action all weekend

We haven’t had many chances to watch Team Curry in action this summer, so when we got a chance to watch Team Curry 2025, we were excited to see what they had to offer.  The coaching staff with this team is off the charts, and this is a group that certainly has talent to be found.  2025 Jonah Lawrence, 2025 Trent Steinour, 2025 Chris Eagan, 2025 JD Bowden, 2025 Cam Flippen, and so many others all showed that they are college-level prospects that should have the attention of college coaches.

Talent can be found down in South Carolina

Another thing that I really enjoyed with the Phenom MDC is getting a chance to see all the South Carolina talent. Whether it was the big dogs from Upward Stars 3SSB, the other Upward Stars programs throughout, or all the other talented programs from the state, South Carolina has plenty of talent to go around and college programs (as well as everyone else) need to start recognizing.  This is a state that has talent to be found, but time after time, this is a state that gets looked over at times with what they have to offer.  Well, that needs to end, and South Carolina needs to be a priority for programs when it comes to talent being found.
